When Collins, Byram and Arthur were the 3 best players on the pitch it tells you everything you need to know about our performance.
A much needed result ground out by some proper performances, Ginger Pele just edged MOTM for me, some heroic stuff and I think our most underrated defender.
First two subs (Calleri & Feghouli) told the story of our season for me, not enough quality bought in plenty of opportunities in advance positions wasted by these two, not up to standard at all.

Could be Bilic has them too wrapped up in cotton wool with half a dozen games still to play, but all I can think of they must have been so crocked or unfit that they were only going to come on as a last throw of the dice if we were losing, and would of risked that.

Decent win and I've been behind Bilic despite his tactical question marks...but why have Carroll & Sakho on the bench if they aren't fit? If you are on the bench you should be 100%. He might as well have had some young lads in the bench instead for the experience.

not exactly a classic. players clearly low on confidence.
lacking quality In depth.
however.
we won a relegation 6 pointer. turned the screws on Swansea and stopped the rota. 5 losses in a row over. a good win,all things considered.

Obviously over the moon we won but after the last few weeks im beginning to see why Payet went to extreme lengths to get a move.................
And then we sign Snodgrass??? now if we had been relegated and needed players to get us out of the Championship i get it, but a club supposedly looking to move to the "Next Level" im left scratching my head.
